Requesting New Reports & Access to Existing Reports
As part of our Power BI development and reporting services, we can create new reports upon request and grant access to existing reports. This page outlines the process to ensure your requests are handled efficiently.
Requesting a New Report
If you need a new report, please follow these steps to submit your request:
- Define Your Requirements – Clearly outline the purpose of the report, the data you need, and any specific visualizations or metrics required.
- Submit a Request – Use the helpdesk to log your request, providing as much detail as possible.
- Review & Development – Our team will assess your request, clarify any details if needed, and schedule the development (Please note we schedule work on a by quarter basis, if urgent please disclose).
- Testing & Feedback – Once a draft report is created, you may be asked to review it to ensure it meets your needs.
- Deployment – After final approval, the report will be published and made available for use.
Requesting Access to an Existing Report
If you require access to an existing report, please follow these steps:
- Identify the Report – Specify the exact report name and, if applicable, the relevant pages or dashboards.
- Submit an Access Request – Use the helpdesk to request access, including justification for why you need it.
- Approval & Access Granting – Your request will be reviewed and where applicable your line manager consulted, and if approved, access will be granted as soon as possible.
